Crunchy Delight-Gluten Free Multigrain Baked Nachos
Nachos are one of the light & crispy snacks we can have for our tea time. It can be eaten with different types of topping to make it more tasty & healthy.
Nowadays Multigrain flour is consumed all over to make chapatis, Dosa or any type of bread. Multi Grain Nachos are also one of the recipes we can try to make the healthy version of it. Multigrain nachos are a healthier alternative to traditional corn nachos. They are made with a variety of whole grains, such as Ragi, whole wheat, and cornmeal. This makes them a good source of fiber and nutrients. Multigrain nachos are also lower in calories and fat than traditional corn nachos.
To make multigrain nachos, you will need a few simple ingredients:
- 1 cup Ragi flour
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup millet flour (Bajra) or Sorghum Flour (Jowar)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Chilly Powder or Chilly Flakes
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water

Method
- In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together i.e. Ragi flour, whole wheat flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the vegetable oil and mix them till the crumbles form and now add a little quantity of water to make medium soft dough.
- Turn the dough out into the surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into equal pieces and roll each piece out into a thin circle.
- Heat a large heavy bottom pan over medium heat.
- Cook the nachos for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- You can also bake them in microwave oven with preheat temp of 180 degree C for 5-7 minutes
- If desired, sprinkle the tortillas with sesame seeds before serving.
- Serve this healthy & nutritious nachos with any of your favorite toppings.
